Individual psychotherapy

Psychotherapy sessions are part of a long-term relationship where we meet weekly or biweekly to unpack and explore past experiences, rewire and lovingly challenge old beliefs, and form a deeper, richer relationship with yourself and others. Nothing is outside the realm of “therapy talk” for me. Anything that touches your life is important and deserving of attentive care.

This is typically a six-month to multi-year commitment, depending on what your needs are.

Some of my areas of specialization and interest include:

  • intersections of racial / gender / sexual identity and trauma

  • multiculturalism, cross-cultural issues, children of immigrants

  • complex trauma and early relational wounds

  • navigating complex relationships with caregivers

  • survivors of emotional neglect

  • grief and ambiguous loss

  • relationship dynamics and challenges

  • shame, self-criticism, and anxiety

  • non-traditional family and relationship structures

  • South Asian diaspora folks who are new to therapy

  • folks who identify as neuroqueer or folks on the neurodivergent spectrum

  • pre-licensed and new therapists

I work best with individuals aged 18 and older.
